I have been using this software for quite some time and its freeware.

I usually run it once a week and I realised that I had not mentioned it here so…

Its a  system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it’s fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!

While I am on the subject I wanted to mention a few other peices of software that I run regularly that have performed extremely well for me. You may already be familiar with Viruses and many times adware that tends to corupt your windows system from performing at its peak. When I last attracted a Virus - I think it was from an email link I found that my system became so slow that it was almost at a crawl despite me having taken precautions like running Anti Virus Programs etc.  So I usually schedule a few hours every 2 weeks to perform some of these tasks. and clean up my system and get rid of those nastly bits of adware, viruses and more and clean up my systems.

1). AVG - Free Edition. I run this continuously and it monitors my system 24/7 and I set up  a schedule complete check once a night when I am not working on my pc. This is from Grisoft and I’ve been using it for a fair few years now.

2). I run SpyBot Search & Destroy. Again this is Free and does an extremely efficient job. Its quite amazing how many malware your PC gets infected with.  Be wary of others trying to get you to download thier free spyware cleaners whilst using Spy Bot Search & Destroy as a selling technique. 3). Lavasoft Adaware -
